Are you tired of your works, tasks and deadlines? Do you need fresher air to refresh your mind? Imogiri Pine Forest will be a best choice for you. It’s located in Imogiri, Bantul, approximately a hour from Jogja. Go to the south of Jogja, go down the Wonosari street until you find Imogiri-Patuk intersection, turn right.

There’s no retribution fee; you just need to pay parking fee, for motorcycle it costs 3000 rupiahs. I don’t really remember how much it costs for car, another thing that I remember is you have to pay 50000 rupiahs for pre-wedding photos-taking.

You can imagine how beautiful this pine forest that there’s a lot of people who choose to have their pre-wedding photo sessions there. It’s nice to come in the morning ‘til afternoon, but you wanna feel another ambience, go try to come in the early morning. Because, if you’re lucky, it’ll be misty—most of nature photographers really love this moment.

For your information, there are several wild pine forests around it, which mean they’re not managed well yet. But I think they’re potential to be alternative spot beside Imogiri Pine Forest. The most important challenge in managing tourist attractions is how to keep them conserved and clean.
